Book Talk

For avid readers, the Tamaqua Public Library's book discussion group provides a venue for open conversation about books. The group meets the last Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the library's reading room to share opinions about and dissect the characters and plots of that month's selected reading.  Often the group discusses books by local and native authors, such as Relative Danger by Charles Benoit, a Lansford native, and Laura Leinhart - The Sommers Hill Adventure, written by Summit Hill resident Stanley (Porky) Szczecina.

New members are always welcome to join the discussion!

Check the Library to see if there is a copy of the book available.  If not, we can obtain copies via the InterLibrary Loan System, or the book may be purchased through Amazon.com.

Please note that the selected books and cost of the books are subject to change.
